Editorial Policy and Corrections
GamesPedia publishes original explanations that help readers understand rules, compare game formats, and assess risk. Claims should be supported by an appropriate source, and the wording should make clear what that source can establish.
Sources and original writing
Section titled “Sources and original writing”For game rules, prefer the developer’s documentation or a specialist rules reference that identifies the game variant. For regulation, use the relevant public authority and state the jurisdiction. For platform features, distinguish an operator’s description from a feature observed in a documented test.
External articles help identify questions and check facts. Their paragraphs must not be copied into a GamesPedia article. Material differences between variants or conflicting sources should remain visible. A screenshot or an operator’s claim alone cannot prove an outcome, a licence, or future reliability.
Gambling, downloads, and strategies
Section titled “Gambling, downloads, and strategies”Content about real-money play, APKs, predictors, legality, or large multipliers must explain the relevant risks. We do not publish guaranteed-win claims or treat a demo result as a forecast. Responsible-gambling tools can limit access or spending; they cannot make gambling safe for every reader.
An adult age threshold does not establish that an activity is legal in a particular location. Legal and financial decisions require current, jurisdiction-specific checks.
Authorship, dates, and disclosures
Section titled “Authorship, dates, and disclosures”The GamesPedia byline identifies the publishing project. We do not invent named experts, qualifications, player reviews, ratings, test results, or independent endorsements. A revision date describes a substantive page revision; it does not mean that every external fact has been rechecked on that date.
An owned review must disclose its publisher’s relationship to the subject where relevant. Any affiliate or commercial relationship connected to a recommendation should be disclosed on that page. A link by itself is not evidence of such a relationship.
Corrections
Section titled “Corrections”Send an error report to info@gamespedia.org. Include the page URL, the disputed statement, a reliable source, and the correction requested. Keep account details and personal documents private. The existing source-project issue link is not currently publicly accessible.
Corrections should replace the inaccurate claim, retain the relevant qualification, and update the revision date when the change is substantive. Public access to the project’s source history is not currently available. No response or resolution time is guaranteed.
